The Woodroyd Centre is a vibrant hub within the heart of a diverse and multicultural community. There are 1028 children under the age of 5 living in the reach area.
The centre was purpose built in 2007 and is in the heart of the local community, it houses the children’s centre, the nursery provision, 3 GP practices, and health commissioned services, health visiting and midwifery services.
The majority of families in the area belong to a well-established Pakistani community. West Bowling is also home to families from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds including those of White British, African Caribbean and EU heritage.
